7/14/20 -
Dear Parents and Guardians of St. Peter’s Lutheran School Students:
I pray that this finds each of you doing well. You have been in my prayers. I miss seeing you and am prayerful that we will be able to return to our beloved school soon.
The New York State Department of Health recently issued Interim Guidance for In-Person Instruction at Pre-K to Grade 12 Schools during the Covid-19 Public Health Emergency. St. Peter’s has a reopening committee that is actively working on developing a plan to reopen our school in September based on these guidelines. We are required to file our plan with NYSED and DOH by July 31, 2020. The plan will be made public to you once it is in place.
I would like to personally thank you for your patience, cooperation, and prayers during this unprecedented time of uncertainty. Many of us have had personal tragedy as a result of this virus and the prayers that have been said on our behalf have been appreciated more than can be expressed.
I pray you remain safe and healthy and are able to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. I will be in touch again, soon.
Mrs. Scibetta
