We are Motivated: eager to act or work at your best.
“Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.”
Our Character Ed word for the month of March is: Motivated. We have each been asked to adjust things in our lives to fit our current situation. We are all being challenged to stay motivated right now as our schedules have changed. Our daily routines are different because of our current situation.
I thought it might be fun if we have a Virtual Spirit Week. It’s a way we can stay connected even though we can’t be together at this time. Our them for the coming week: March 23-27 is
Our St. Peter’s Family is Motivated!
By 8:00 am each day I will post that day’s theme on our Facebook Page. (I’ve included the list below for those who aren’t on Facebook, but still want to participate.) Guardians are asked to encourage and monitor that day’s activity. If you would like and are comfortable with it you can post a picture in the comment section of that day’s theme announcement. I plan on posting my own picture each day. (If you don’t have Facebook, you can still take a picture and if you would like and are comfortable with it, you can email the picture to your child’s teacher or to me. mrsjmscibetta@gmail.com)
The activities are not meant to be academic, however, like any activity there will be learning involved; whether it’s trying something new or working on getting along with others. If an activity works better another day, feel free to switch them around; especially the play outside day or if a family member wants to bake one day that is different than what is listed.) I hope that you have fun and I look forward to seeing many pictures. I miss all of our beautiful children!!
Our St. Peter’s Family is Motivated
Day 1: Monday, March 23rd Pet Day- Spend time with your pets by playing with them, taking a walk or hugging them. Sadly, I don’t currently have a pet, so I will be hugging my favorite stuffed animal.
Day 2: Tuesday, March 24th Creativity Day- There’s a lot to be done on this day! You can make a craft, draw a picture (we have some incredible artists) paint something or color from your favorite coloring book. What will make it even better is if you do this alongside a family member. I’m not the most creative person, but I do like to paint.
Day 3: Wednesday, March 25th Kitchen Day- Time to get your hands dirty. Along with your guardian how about trying a new recipe… baking or cooking! I love to bake so I can’t wait for this day!
Day 4: Thursday, March 26th Outside Day- Spend time doing one of your favorite outside activities. I am praying the weather is nice for us on this day. I LOVE to be outside doing many activities.
Day 5: Friday, March 27th Game Day- When my kids were young Friday night was often game night. What a perfect opportunity for you to play a game or do a puzzle as a family. I’m looking forward to putting a puzzle together!
I hope you join me in these activities. Have a fun week and stay safe and healthy.
Sending my love to you all!
