EXTRA CURRICULAR
We believe athletics as well as participation in fine arts clubs is an educational experience between the coach and the team through practice, competition, and person-to-person relationships.
We believe that coaches/teachers, players, and spectators will represent the Lord well to our community by conducting themselves in a manner that honors Him.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM:
- To promote the Christian life style in athletic competition as in all of life.
- To encourage physical conditioning.
- To promote and encourage cooperation and teamwork.
- To teach athletes the fundamental skills in the sport.
- To promote participation, sportsmanship and school spirit.
- To encourage participation of all students, regardless of level of athletic skill and experience.
- Coaches will be a Christian example in word and action.
- Coaching will be done by an approved volunteer in accordance with the overall principles of the school.
- Each coach will sign a Participation Covenant Statement.
CODES OF CONDUCT FOR ATHLETES:
- Maintain and display a Christian example of sportsmanship.
- Respect all officials and coaches.
- Encourage their teammates and show good sportsmanship to other teams and their fans regardless of the outcome of each game.
- Give their best effort at practices and games.
- Attend practices and games regularly and excuse all absences with the coach.
- Be in attendance at school. (Unless there is an excused absence, other than illness.)
- Follow all classroom and school rules. (Any out of school suspensions will prohibit the student from participating in any extracurricular activities the day of the suspension.)
